Project: Add New Map

[T] has been formed for a long time. Everything runs smoothly and functional.

While, like in a biomass, old cells die and new cells born. Similarly, it's better to refresh the "blood" in our game.

My understanding of this is we'd better add some new maps.

Many players and even I thought that spending all the time playing every mutated version of dust2 or assault all the time, is, a little boring.

Therefore, I suggest everybody participate, give us any new map you interested in or want to add.

I know this could be long, aimless and time consuming. But playing new maps is definitely a good way to add new elements to our family and keep people excited.

And now I want to start my project, and hopefully everyone who see this thread can share ideas. And this thread will be updated.


My first nomination (2014/7/23)

No.1 cs_havana_cz:

Reason why this is a good map for bones
1) support 32 players
2) alley-battlezone, no huge empty spaces(like compound01 and aztec)
3) sufficient hiding area and approaching routes.
4) the inner structure of the apartment complex is complicated. Escape routes are diversified.

No.2 cs_darkhouse

Reason why this is a good map for bones
1) support 32 players
2) compound area invading map. T in a big house and CT outside.
3) entrance of the house is sufficient and in every direction
4) enough shelter between ct spawn and T's house.

No.3 zm_abyss

Reason why this is a good map for zombie-survival
1) support 32 players
2) loop-area, easy to hit and run
3) some place that needs effort to reach and easy to defend.

I will provide necessary bsp. txt. wad .mdl and nav. file if you guys are interested in it.

Don't be a Caesium, he has hugest body but cannot even protect on electron.
Do be a Fluorine, he is the smallest but he is able to protect 7+1 electrons!

Here's the deal with the maps:

1.) I need a download link to the file.
(This way I can download it, scan it and put it on the Game Server and Web Server).


2.) Make sure its for CS:1.6 or CS:CZ. Maps for CS:S and CS:GO will not work on CZ servers.
(This doesn't guarantee the map will work, You can save some time by downloading it and reviewing the files as well.)

3.) Maps need to support at least 32 Players. (This doesn't guarantee bots won't die when they spawn, but chances are better if we have more slots).

4.) Maps need to have a .nav file, this is what tells the bots how to run around the map, otherwise they just jump up and down hopelessly at their spawn. (Its very common for the more custom maps to not include this file and if its not in there, the map will more then likely not work).

5.) Even after the map has been uploaded we still might have spawn-deaths. (We then have to map/make new/additional spawn points using a module that I haven't installed and am not familiar with how to use.)

So, we'd first have to start with a download link.

if we have a higher rank member on later that has admin level ability to get to this map lets try it a few times on both teams ?
I cannot get this map on the list from amx_votemapmenu

It will not list under the map menu because it is not on the map rotation.
You must use the console (the only thing I know how to use) lol and type in amx_map cs_1943_cz.

Andy (Sore Piles) Reports the map works, the bots work on both teams and complete objectives.
However only 12 bots will join the opposing team, I believe this is due to the number of spawn points available, I'm researching options.

Very good map.  Just tried it today.  The bots versus human ratio is a minor issue.  Would like to get some bigger maps in as well.  I'll take a look into some more maps that we can potentially add...just need to find the names of them and a proper link.

Ok, I added a Spawn Point Editor to the server and tested it out. Seems to be working good and I have fixed the spawn points on that map.
Please continue to test it on Bones 3.

we tried with 8 humans 24 bots .. all seems good .. no issues with sticky points for bots THEY are EVERYWHERE!! gonna be a challenging map for sure . Thanks boss for making it happen  ! ill keep searching for more new ones !

i tested too looks like a good map to me i litle hard to find your team if your CT lol good map thanks boss for adding the map and thanks bob for finding that map
